WORLD ANIMAL DAY 2021

To all the animals across Greece who still need our help, our pledge on World Animal Day 2021, is to keep fighting for a better future for you all.

CNR IN CHROUSSA, SYROS

Despite the heatwaves in July, we kept our promise to sponsor the sterilisation of 40 Syros cats every single month in collaboration with the We Live Together clinic.

OUR FIRST EQUINE PROGRAMME ON KARPATHOS

Back in July, we teamed up with the fantastic Animal Welfare Karpathos to deliver a one-day veterinary, dental and farriery event for the donkeys and mules of Olympos village.

WILDFIRE APPEAL: HOW YOUR DONATIONS ARE SAVING LIVES

Our Urgent Wildfire Appeal has raised a truly lifechanging €25,000. We’ve started sending funds to those most in need, and want to share with you how your donations are saving lives in the aftermath of what were Greece’s worst wildfires to date.

URGENT WILDFIRE APPEAL

As the wildfires continue to blaze, the devastating effect they are having on the animals of Greece is becoming worse by the day. Companion animals, wildlife, farm animals… they are all in grave danger.

A WARM WELCOME ON SPETSES, EVEN AFTER 10 YEARS AWAY

Our Equine team last visited Spetses in 2009. Despite more than 10 years away, we were bowled over by the island’s warm welcome when we returned earlier this year to provide veterinary, dental and farriery treatment to 34 equines.

Animal Action Greece RETURN TO HYDRA

Our Equine Outreach team have been visiting the island of Hydra and treating its animals for over 10 years. But in 2020, we were forced to cancel the trip due to both a lack of funding and, of course, the outbreak of Covid-19.

WORLD ZOONOSES DAY – AND HOW TO GET INVOLVED

On World Zoonoses Day, we’re calling for decision-makers around the world to recognise the link between pandemics and our treatment of animals. Sign the petition and help us prevent future pandemics.

A PACKED AGENDA FOR PAROS OUTREACH TRIP

Whether it’s a CNR project, a rescue mission or an equine veterinary workshop, our outreach trips usually have one purpose, but there was a packed agenda when our team visited Paros earlier this month!
