Istiaia is a small seaside town on the island of Evia Greece and one of the areas with the highest numbers of stray dogs. During 2018 we neutered 35 dogs in collaboration with the local animal welfare organisation “Artemis” and the veterinary clinic Blue Cross.
Nelly is a purebred Pitbull, she was found in a terrible condition. She was starving, suffering from scabies and womb prolapse. Nelly was treated and neutered and she has now found her forever home.
We are very pleased that our neutering intervention encouraged the local municipality to start its own neutering programme.
