Led by the Eurogroup for Animals, the Companion Animal Campaign, will be a six month campaign to call for the European Commission to take action to improve the welfare of companion animals \u2013 cats, dogs and equines.<\/p>\n

Starting in June and run principally via Instagram, the campaign will seek to build momentum by encouraging citizens to participate by posting pictures of their own companion animals.<\/p>\n

Eurogroup for Animals will be providing campaign materials and a hub page on their website, which will serve as the main \u2018landing page\u2019 for the campaign.<\/p>\n

Campaign objective: <\/strong><\/h3>\n

The campaign will culminate with supporters presenting Vytenis Andriukaitis, European Commissioner for Health & Food Safety, with a huge collection of pictures inside a large frame. This will be a visual embodiment of the grass roots support for action to improve the welfare of companion animals.<\/p>\n
